Andrea Burch

Dr. Andrea R. Burch, Psy.D.

Dr. Burch is a NYS Licensed Psychologist and Assistant Professor of School Psychology at Alfred University. She practices out of the Hornell office on a part-time basis. Dr. Burch earned her Psy.D. in School Psychology from Alfred University and has 8 years experience as a practicing School Psychologist in both k-12 and post-secondary settings. Given this experience, Dr. Burch is particularly skilled in administering psychoeducational and psychological evaluations for children and young adults, and in providing support and consultation to parents and school personnel who care for children with disabilities and developmental delays. She works with children, adolescents, young adults, and families, primarily providing play therapy, individual psychotherapy, and family therapy for a variety or presenting problems. Dr. Burch is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), and the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP). She is a certified School Psychologist in New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.

Michelle S. Bennett, MSN, NPP, is a Nationally Board Certified Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry.  She has lived in the Southern Tier for most of her life and has had approximately 20 years experience in working with individuals with mental illness and developmental disabilities.  Ms. Bennett accepts referrals of adults age 18 and over for psychiatric treatment in our Hornell office.

Robert Maiden

Dr. Robert Maiden, Ph.D.

dr-maidenRobert J. Maiden, PhD, is a Professor of Psychology and Director of the Gerontology Program at Alfred University. Dr Maiden came to Alfred University in 1982 to teach in the clinical/ counseling tract and the gerontology program of the psychology division and was designated the director of the Gerontology Program in 1984. He received his doctorate in clinical psychology and master’s degree in developmental psychology from the New School for Social Research; he received his bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of Michigan.
